ME “MKPV” of Khmelnytskyi City Council joined the final event of the project “Alignment of Ukrainian legislation in the field of waste management with the legislation of the European Union and best practices for waste prevention” by the NGO “Ukrainian Zero Waste Alliance” in the Khmelnytskyi region.

During the event, participants reviewed the EU regulatory framework in the field of circular economy, current legislation of Ukraine, as well as practical developments of the Khmelnytskyi community in the field of waste management.

As part of the program, participants visited local infrastructure facilities, including a municipal solid waste landfill, a waste management center, the “Gufi Center,” a library of reusable items, and learned about the operation of the eco-bus.

Participation in the event contributed to the exchange of experience, establishment of new professional contacts, and development of partnerships in the field of waste management.
