Responsible for legislative work and parliamentary oversight in environmental protection, rational use of natural resources (water, forestry, mineral), environmental safety and waste management
Plays a key role in waste management, including waste processing regulation, permit issuance, maintaining registers of business entities, and developing the National Waste Management Plan
