Representatives of ME "MCWM" KCC made a working visit to the modern waste management complex Beo Čista Energija d.o.o. (Belgrade, Republic of Serbia) — one of the largest infrastructure projects in the region implemented through public-private partnership.

During the visit, the organizational model of the complex operation, technologies for sorting, processing, and energy recovery from waste, as well as environmental protection and monitoring standards were examined.

Special attention was paid to the experience of implementing a waste-to-energy system, which allows generating electricity and heat from residual waste.

The acquired knowledge is an important basis for developing the strategy of ME "MCWM" KCC and implementing modern technologies in the waste management system of the city of Kharkiv.
