Representatives of the Municipal Company “MKPV” of the Kharkiv City Council paid a working visit to the composting station of the Municipal Enterprise “Green City” in the city of Lviv. The purpose of the trip was to study the practical experience of organizing an organic waste management system.

During the meeting, the colleagues discussed established mechanisms for the collection, sorting, and processing of organic waste, the operational specifics of the composting station, as well as issues related to improving the efficiency of municipal waste management systems. Particular attention was paid to the practical aspects of implementing environmentally safe solutions that help reduce the volume of waste sent to landfills and contribute to the development of circular economy principles.

As part of the visit, the delegation of the Municipal Company “MKPV” of the Kharkiv City Council familiarized themselves with the station’s production processes, organic waste composting technologies, and the organization of the enterprise’s operational activities. Representatives of the Municipal Enterprise “Green City” shared their own experience in implementing infrastructure projects, engaging with the community, and fostering a culture of responsible waste management among the population.
